Buy your tickets – as easy as 1-2-3.

AtB’s mobile app lets you buy your ticket before you get on board. The ticket is valid on the AtB-buses and trams in Trondheim, Stjørdal, Hommelvik, Støren, Orkanger/Fannrem.

You can buy a ticket just for yourself or for a group travelling together.

You can buy single tickets in the whole area and period tickets in Trondheim.

In order to make your purchase dialogue as easy as possible, the ticket app must have access to Location Services. Knowing your location means that the app can automatically suggest a ticket in the zone where you are located.

While installing the app, Android OS ask for permission to get access to certain things. For those of you are interested; here are the permissions, and why we need them:

To find your location on the zone selection map:
- approximate location (network-based)
- precise location (GPS and network-based)

To store data downloaded from the server (e.g. language strings):
- modify or delete the contents of your SD card
- read the contents of your SD card

To send push-notifications (e.g. that your parent user has topped up his mobile account):
- read Google service configuration

To communicate with the server:
- full network access
- receive data from Internet
- view network connections

To run the service that listens for incoming push notifications:
- prevent phone from sleeping
