This app is NOT a real matrix calculator. It cannot solve any listed problems perfectly for any matrices. It is designed as a supplemental tool for a Linear Algebra course.

Its best feature is that it EXPLAINS how one can

3. find the determinant of a matrix
4. find the inverse of a matrix (if exists).
5. find transpose of a matrix.
6. solve a linear system using Cramer's Rule.
7. compute the characteristic polynomial of a matrix.

Since this app is design to work on mobile devices, it works best with matrices of SMALL sizes with integer entries. SMALL usually means "less than 10".
